This paper presents the results of measurements and calculations of the shift coefficients for 170 absorption lines of H2O from the vibrational-rotational bands. The measurements were made using highly sensitive laser spectrometers with the spectral resolution better than or equal to 0.01cm-1. The calculations were made using the Anderson-Tsao-Curnutte-Frost technique. Good agreement has been obtained between the theoretical and experimental values of the coefficients of the H2O absorption line shifts caused by N2, O2 , and air pressure.
