Fluctuations of the echo-signal power of coherent Doppler lidar, caused by turbulent fluctuations of air refractive index, are analyzed. On the base of an analytical approach it is shown that with increase of the optical turbulence intensity the relative standard deviation of the echo-signal power averaged over microphysical parameters of scattering particles increases in the beginning, then decreases and does not exceed 0.5. Experimental dependence of this characteristic versus range is represented.
