Abstract:
Correlation analysis of long-term series of temperature and certain circulation indices (NAO, SOI, W, E, C) for period 1936-2005 is performed. Periodicity analysis of temporal series of circulation indices and temperature is made by fast Fourier transform (FFT). Base correlations between temporal series of circulation indices and temperature are defined. The main oscillation periods of temperature series and circulation indices NAO, W, E, C series concur and form 3-6, 7-12, 20-40 years at the West Siberia region.
