Abstract:

Analysis of amounts and composition of industrial emissions and city transport exhausts revealed sectors of the Russian national economy needing gas analyzers. The state-of-the-art has been studied in gas analytical instrument-making concerning development and production of both portable and stationary gas analyzers. The main directions in development of portable and stationary gas analyzers intended for monitoring of technogenic emissions into the atmosphere have been considered. It was shown that for stationary gas analyzers one of the promising directions is designing new gas analyzers based on Raman scattering.
