IR spectra of H2O-HF mixture have been recorded in the spectral region from 700 to 4000 cm-1 using a VECTOR-22 Fourier transform spectrometer. Analysis of the spectroscopic data enabled us to reveal some peculiarities in the spectra, in particular, a larger number of bands are observed as compared to that known from literature data. Based on ab initio quantum chemical calculations, experimental vibrational frequencies have been tentatively assigned. Our experiments show that in the atmosphere H2O and HF form various complexes.
