A CVL-pumped tunable wide-bandwidth coherent Al2O3: Тi3+ oscillator designed for atmospheric observations was developed Its output energy, kinetic, spectral and spatial characteristics for selective and non-selective resonator geometries and the MOPA chain were measured. The MOPA configuration was embodied in a breadboard model of a diffraction oscillator with an average output of ~2,6 W and FWHM of 1-2 pm.
